 My passion for building began on Beech Street in Bryan, Ohio. As a young kid, I watched my neighbor, Mr. Jackson, transform simple trips to the lumberyard into incredible home renovations. That early spark led to a lifelong pursuit of the craft, from an architectural drafting internship in high school to my formal training in the 1990s as an apprentice at JM Woodworks in Colorado.

I’ve always believed that to be a leader in the industry, you must first master the craft. My early career was shaped by the mentorship of Robert Oxley, a renowned NKBA official and author, who instilled in me the standard of excellence that remains my North Star. This foundation fueled my entrepreneurial spirit, leading me to co-found Kitchens & More in Denver, where I managed every detail of the project—from the first sketch to the final hinge.

My journey eventually took me into the corporate sector for industry titans like Masco and MasterBrand Cabinetry. Representing the nation’s largest manufacturers provided a masterclass in high-volume growth and complex supply chains. Later, as an Operations Manager for Grabill Multifamily Cabinetry, I leveraged that experience to develop specialized product lines engineered for modern construction.

In 2005, I founded BuildSmart Contractor Services to bridge the gap between high-end design and practical home renovations. I bring "Big Industry" expertise back home to you, specializing in kitchen and bath renovations, "mini-makeovers," and refacing. 

Whether the project is large or small, I ensure it is handled with the precision of a craftsman and the eye of a designer. At the intersection of design, budget, and craftsmanship, my mission is simple: to help homeowners make their spaces fit their lifestyles.
